Top Ten Tuesday #1: Minor Characters

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists! Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers' lists.

1. Jules from Die For Me by Amy Plum: He's awesome :) He's funny and kind, and I'm guessing there might be a love triangle emerging in the next book... ;)

2. Rue from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins: She was SO CUTE! :D I loved her, and I was so upset... You know when, though I won't say for those who haven't read it yet :) And can I just say I think the girl who is cast for her in the movie is an awesome choice, looks-wise? :D

3. Alec and Magnus from The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare: OK, technically that's two people, but they have to go together.. They're awesome! :) They should both be featured in the books more ;)

4. Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter by JK Rowling: Luna's crazy weird, and super cool! Need I say more? :L

5. Claire from Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini: She's an awesome friend :) She looks after Helen and makes sure she's OK, and is incredibly loyal and understanding. Who wouldn't want a friend like her? :D

6. Prim from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins: She is also an awesome minor character from The Hunger Games. I love little sisters, they're so cute, especially when big sisters stick up for them, and make sure they're OK... :D

7. Cogon from Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder: I love the world that Maria V. Snyder created, and one of my favourite characters was Cogon! He was such a good friend to Trella, and I think it was nice that they weren't romantically involved, they were just super-good friends :D

8. Jenna from Wither by Lauren DeStefano: She is so sweet, and I love her! She has an enormous heart, and she really cared for Rhine and Cecily :) She's also very sad and troubled, and I felt sorry for her, but could kind of imagine how she felt... But not really. :L

9. Hana from Delirium by Lauren Oliver: Again,  like Claire, she was an awesome friend, and even though at times she could be a bit weird, she would always come back to support Lena :)

10. Christina from Divergent by Veronica Roth: And my last one is also an awesome friend, and quickly Christina became a good sidekick to Tris, and looked out for her all the time :)
